It would be nice to generalize the solver as much as possible.
Of course writing a python solver will probbaly yield extremely low
efficiency, however, projects purpose would not be to produce a
commercial peice of software, but rather a tool for building intution
about concepts like Ritz-Galerkin, weak formulations, FEM and finite
basis.
