This MR contains changes related to the upcoming 2024a version of pigeon. In addition, it contains a quick and dirty fix for the pynamic auralizations.
Once this is merged, I would like to add a tag for the 2024a version of pigeon. However, it probably makes sense to wait until this version is released before merging this MR.
