Usage of svg-files is not specified
IMPORTANT NOTE: The text included in your svg-file MUST NOT contain underscores _
! This may also apply for other text-symbols interfering with LaTeX language e.g. \
or such.
Svg can not easily be included in LaTeX. Please add instructions and requirements (Preferably for Windows with TexStudio).
As of now i can give you the following information and steps to get it to work (not yet tested)
- At
Packages
at themain.tex
, add\usepackage{svg}
,\usepackage{svg-extract}
. - Install inkscape.
- Add path to inkscape in your system environment, e.g.
your\path\to
(does not work for everyone) or include\svgsetup{inkscapeexe="your/path/to/inkscape.exe"}
with the correct path to theinkscape.exe
file. - Add
--shell-escape
to your LaTeX-Editors command for calling LuaLaTeX, e.g.lualatex.exe -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode --shell-escape %.tex
. - Install ImageMagick.
- At
Packages
at themain.tex
, add\setsvg{magickexe={"your/path/to/magick.exe" -density 300}}
. - For MikTex users: Download Xpdf. (Pretty sure this is not neccessary)
- Use
\includesvg
to include svg-files.
Source and additional info here and in the svg package documentation.
EDIT: ImageMagick installed.
