Improve documentation of AixLib.BoundaryConditions.GroundTemperature.GroundTemperatureKusuda
Created by: marcusfuchs
What is the problem?
The current documentation was misleading for my application. The parameter T_amp
is described as
Difference between max and min air temperature [K]
This leads to unreasonable results. Actually, according to the cited paper Annual ground temperature measurements at various depths, T_amp
needs to be
Amplitude of surface temperature [(maximum air temperature - minimum air temperature)/2]
With half the amplitude, results look more reasonable.
Why do we want to solve it?
- Avoid confusion
How do we want to solve it?
I'll update the documentation. I'll fix a few typos and unneccessary whitespaces along the way. In addition, I'll add an example with values for the site of our main building in Aachen. So if someone needs a ground temperature model for Aachen in the future, they can simply copy from this example.
