Receiving Invalid format 'dd.mm.yyyy' of date field 'urldate'

Happened on: Overleaf

When citing internet sources such as web pages and documenting the date of the last page access overleaf gives the following error:

Package biblatex Warning: Biber reported the following issues with 'DFG22': - Entry 'DFG22' (references.bib): Invalid format '29.11.2022' of date field 'urldate' - ignoring.

followed by

Entry 'DFG22' (references.bib): Invalid format '29.11.2022' of date field 'urldate' - ignoring

although the year field only contains a year in the format yyyy.

This has happened to two individual references. No other Errors or warnings occurred.
