Line widget: change resizing behavior
At the moment the aspect ratio of the line widget is locked, resizing its width also automatically makes the "container" taller without affecting the actual widget at all. This makes sense if the widget has a rotation angle unequal to 0 or 90 but I believe that most users wanting to integrate the line widget would do it horizontally or vertically.
Maybe we could handle these use-cases differently by making the line widget act similar to the slider widget in edit mode if it is vertical or horizontal? Only allowing resizing in the direction that actually affects the widget?
The current state has two major drawbacks:
- the large container box could cause interference with other widgets by overlapping
- creating a line to horizontally or vertically split the dashboard would merit a gigantic container box and the user would
likely need to resize the dashboard itself to contain it. (Using a line to split a dashboard into different areas could be
a popular way to use the widget in my opinion.)
