I want to discuss the possibility of adding Tooltips to features that aren't obvious and/or replacing some descriptions with Tooltips. Some examples:
-The drag and drop mechanism in the dashboard edit layout mode isn't very obvious in my opinion. My first thought would be adding a small question mark button with a Tooltip explaining how to add widgets.
-I've recently added buttons to resize a dashboard manually. Adding text like "dashboard size" over/under them changes the natural layout of the site so I've added Tooltips to get a feel for how they look/how to work with them 02ae930f . Which leads me to a more experimental idea:
-Replacing some (button) descriptions with Tooltips. A lot of websites nowadays tend to have "icon only buttons" with Tooltip descriptions. This makes a website feel sleeker and less cluttered in my opinion. For example most buttons in VILLASWeb have very obvious icons (edit, save, delete...) giving a user the general idea what this button is for. Tooltips would also allow more space for a more through description (What is the Edit File button for?).
